The last poll taken on Creative Confectionery asked you to vote on your favorite fall treat. Though it was close, the winner ended up in one of my favorites: Pie! Runners up included Apple Cider & Cider donuts, prompting me to blog about these soon.
By the way, for those of you who love and/or voted for Cider donuts, you should really check out the blog post on Dog Hill Kitchen. Maggie has created an absolutely amazing looking recipe for Pumpkin Spice Donut Holes! I'm definitely trying this one out soon...and you will want to as well once you see the pictures :).
So, back to the pie! The current poll is asking you what type of pie you'd love to see a recipe about. Please be sure to vote so that I can provide you with the pie recipe that you're wanting to try out this fall season! It's almost October, and if you're from the North East as I am, you don't have many more weeks before it gets really cold!

Oh I'm jealous! I really want to go apple picking & then have a huge baking party :) Maybe I'll convince some friends...let me know what you bake!

I'm completely jealous of the Fall season that you are about to experience... the colors, the crisp, cool weather, the pumpkins on every doorstep. We just don't get that in So Cal!!

Am currently involved in what could charitably be termed a baking frenzy. I made a stupid bet with my students and, long story short, I am now on the hook for 4 apple pies. There have several smoke alarm incidents, but the pies look (and taste) great. The key is the hint of lemon. Also i keep eating the sugar-coated apples.
