Honey Continuation...

I wanted to include this last bit when posting last night but I forgot my camera at the office!
I currently reside in the lovely city of Boston, MA. Every Tuesday and Friday during the warm months there is a farmers market at Copley Square. Amongst all of the delicious produce, flowers, and baked goods, many of the stands sell honey!

If you couldn’t tell from my post last night, it really doesn’t take a lot to convince me to buy a sampling of honey. This is particularly true of local, sustainable farms.

About a month ago I purchased some honey from one of the stands at the Copley Farmers Market. This was no ordinary honey, though. This honey was infused with Lavender! According to the farmer running the stand, this particular version (they had several “flavors”) sold like a certain illegal white substance (enough said). I thought his sales pitch was humorous and enticing enough to give it a try.

Well, his honey IS delicious. I’m not sure that I can really tell the difference between this Lavender Honey and regular fresh honey. Be that as it may, it was worth the purchase. It is as delicious as he described!
